Happiness Is Being A Twin

twinblog3 225x139 Happiness Is Being A TwinNot many people may know this, but I am a twin! My fabulous sister Sarah and I are only 1 minute apart, of course I beat her out. She is the only person who has known me longer than twinblog2 225x148 Happiness Is Being A Twinanyone else in the world, 9 months longer to be exact. We are fraternal twins, and although I am completely happy being a blonde, she lucked out with awesome red twinblog1 225x137 Happiness Is Being A Twinhair!

We have always been extremely close, and I love hanging out with her, or having her pitch in around my office. In high school, we were known as the “Twin Towers” on our girl’s basketball team.

What a duo, we were a force to be reckoned with! I still remember all of the times she stole my clothes, used my make-up, or tried to tag along with me when I had a date. We are so completely different, but in many ways exactly the same. Growing up, top universities and colleges would pay us each $5.00 to conduct twin studies.

Meg and Sarah 225x168 Happiness Is Being A TwinTo this day, we can still finish each other sentences, know each other’s thoughts, and feel each other’s pain. It is so interesting being a twin, something that most people will never have a chance to experience. For this I am so grateful, and I love being a twin!
