My FIRST International Apartment!

I can’t believe I moved into my first international apartment the other day! What a BIG day
that was for me! I always envisioned Paris or London or some super savvy destination, but
China??!! I guess it IS THE place to be these days….. so… I rushed over to the nearest IKEA
and picked up the most modern, stark looking linens and bedding that I could find for my new
digs. I want my new place to be the exact opposite of my apartment in LA!!! Clutter- free,
modern and clean! I felt like it was my first day again in college; stocking up for my dorm room,
it was such a blast! At the same time this has been a scary one…. I feel so far away from
home. I feel like this has been such a permanent move, that this trip is so different than the
ones in the past. I am not staying in a hotel anymore, this is my own apartment now, a place I
can call my own in China. It really isn’t about having things. It’s about the people that surround
you that make a home. I have a fabulous team in China right now, thank God…. I am blessed
to work with talented people that share the same vision as I do.

So many changes have happened this year it has been a crazy adjustment. People coming
in and out of my life. I feel like I really am growing, as if art and my line are imitating life. I am
really having a blast with everything, it has been a rollercoaster ride at every moment. I can’t
wait to see what happens, and to see where this crazy business leads me to set up shop next!!!
